Expiration Labels for Beauty Products

 

Once opened, a beauty product typically is good for use for about 3 to 24 months depending on its period after opening (PAO) label. This label can be found on most products and is an open jar with the number of months the product should be used...anything much past that should be thrown away. It helps to use small labels with dates of when products are opened to keep track.

Allow Products to Absorb!

 

The average woman spends about $300 a year or more on styling products, but most of us are not reaping the full benefits! Just like you let your conditioner sit in your hair a little longer to give it time to work its magic, the same is true for your styling products. After combing your hair when you get out of the shower, apply your products right away and let them absorb into your strands for about 10 minutes before you break out your hair dryer and other various styling tools.

Camouflage Those Roots!

 

 

 

 

 

Listen up, blondies! If you still have a few days before your appointment, there is an easy way to camouflage that darker new growth. Spray your roots with dry shampoo (whether it's clean or not) and then style with a messy side part...zig-zag your part a little with a fine-tooth comb to help conceal those roots.
