We attended a hands-on balayage (BOLLY-ahj) class last Monday! The word is French for "to sweep," which is a reference to the way in which the color or lightener is applied. Instead of using foils, a stylist hand-paints the product onto the hair in sweeping motions for a softer, more natural look. This trend is so popular right now, and we are perfecting our technique!

Have you ever wondered what "balayage" means? The word is French for "to sweep," which is a reference to the way in which the color or lightener is applied. Senior Stylist, Amber O'Neil, took some "during" and "after" pictures of one of her balayage clients so we could see the process and the beautiful finished result!
